Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Neap iOS application ("Neap", "the app"), provided by Burak Akyalçın ("I", "me"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. The app

Neap is a focus and study tool for iPhone. It provides countdown, stopwatch, and cycle timers, with optional iCloud sync of your session history.

2. Eligibility

You may use Neap if you can form a binding contract with Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (typically age 13+, varying by region). The app is licensed to you, not sold.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Neap on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

4. Your data

Neap stores your sessions and settings locally on your device and, when you have iCloud enabled, in your own iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. I don't operate any servers, don't collect analytics, and don't track you. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't try to reverse-engineer or modify the app beyond what your local laws permit.
• Don't use the app to violate any law or to harm others.
• Don't redistribute or resell the app or its assets.

6. App Store

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, or any claims relating to it. Maintenance and support are provided by me, not Apple.

7. No warranty

Neap is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall I be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the app, even if I have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes

I may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

You may stop using Neap at any time by deleting it from your devices. I may discontinue the app at my discretion, with reasonable notice when possible.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye.
